Lutheran High School North is a diverse educational community whose unity is in Jesus Christ. We exist to nurture young Christians for further education and Christian service. This is our mission, it drives what we do everyday in this place.  Our guiding principles are to nurture young Christians spiritually, academically and holistically.

Lutheran North has an enrollment of 370 students with 35 professional staff members for the 2006-07 school year. The staff includes, teachers, administrators, and counselors. Students have the opportunity to be a part of chapel 5 days a week. Each year, students take theology classes and are provided with numerous service opportunities. As a college prep school, students have the opportunity to excel in their academics through numerous college credit courses in the dual credit program with St. Louis University and Advanced Placement exams. Students also have a wide variety of elective courses. The Lutheran North class of 2006 had 95% of the graduates attend a 4 year college and 5% attended two year colleges.  Lutheran North graduates attend a wide range of local and nationally renowned universities.

Lutheran North has a rich tradition of athletics and extra curricular offerings; nearly 80 percent of our student body is involved in at least one extra curricular activity in a year. Lutheran North has 14 state championships and 30 final four appearances in its 40 year history. Students have an opportunity to be involved in a fantastic music program that consist of two levels of concert band, pep and jazz bands as well as concert choir and an excellent drama program. The concert band has earned five number one state ratings in recent years. Along with the rich athletic and fine arts programs, students have a host of clubs and organizations in which to become involved. Some of those activities involve Student Council, National Honor Society, World Cultures Club, Student Ambassadors, Future Business Leaders of America, International Thespian Society, Troupe# 1042, TREND, Mathematics Team (State Champs 2003 and a State 2^nd place 2006) and more.
