About this position:
● Full-time Part-time: X ( 50__ % of full-time employment)
● Role: Assistant to the Counseling Department and the Registrar
● Reports to: Assistant Principal-Academics and Counseling
Summary of Duties and Areas of Responsibilities: The employee’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Greet and assist students and visitors to the Counseling Center
● Maintain confidentiality of records and interactions
● Assist the Registrar as directed in maintaining accurate academic records/transcripts for each student
● Assist with annual Registrar Reports
● Serve as A+ Coordinator
○ Manage all aspects of the program: handbook, letters, tracking attendance, service, grades, etc.
○ Coordinate the A+ tutoring program
● Assist in keeping college and scholarship files up to date
● Prepare transcripts for distribution, load into SCOIR (initial, mid-year, final) and maintain accurate
distribution records
● Schedule campus visitors, including but not limited to, college representatives, military recruiters, and
mentor visits for students with graduate support counselors
● Upload student achievement and testing data to SCOIR
● Gather needed data and information for scholarship tracking, Senior Honors Assembly, and Graduation
● Maintain the Counseling Center calendar/schedule and SCOIR visit calendar
● Assist with NCAA athlete qualification spreadsheets
● Annually move permanent records to storage (stored for 7 years) and shred old records
● Respond to education verification requests
● Distribute reminders and information to parents and students (currently via the Bright Arrow system)
● Upload expense reimbursements for the Student Services department
● Produce certificates for both 8th and 12th grade graduates
● Additional duties as assigned

church (LCMS)

● Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets
● Comfortable and versatile with technology and willing to learn
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
