Substitute Teacher

The Lutheran High School Association of St. Louis is seeking to hire substitute teachers for its Lutheran High School South campus.  The substitute teachers work on an as needed basis and the current rate of pay is $16.66 per hour. The substitute teacher assumes the duties of the classroom teacher and adheres to school rules and policies. 

Summary of Duties and Areas of Responsibilities:

The substitute teacher’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading instructions in the classroom by following the teacher’s existing lesson plans
• Instructing students on a variety of classroom topics/courses
• Assigning reasonable tasks and homework
• Maintaining a classroom climate that supports a learning environment for all students
