The College and Career Counselor develops, coordinates, and oversees Lutheran South’s comprehensive college and career counseling program. This role provides individualized guidance to students and families in grades 9–12 as they explore postsecondary options including four-year colleges, community colleges, technical and trade programs, apprenticeships, military service, and workforce pathways.
Grounded in Lutheran theology and the Christian understanding of vocation, the College and Career Counselor helps students discern how their God-given gifts, interests, and abilities may be used in service to others. This position works closely with academic counselors, faculty, administrators, parents, and external partners to support LuSo’s Strategic Goal of Comprehensive and Individualized College Preparation.
Lutheran South High School is seeking a qualified educator to teach in our math department. This full-time position requires a credentialed teacher who has a passion for the ministry, is enthusiastic about building relationships, and is driven by teaching the content to high school students. Specialization in the content area is desired, and a Master’s degree is preferred.
